• The 2008 call for entries began May 18, 2008 and will run through August 22, 2008. Each submission will be $50 per category through July 13, 2008. Effective July 14, 2008, pricing will be $75 per category.
• Nominees will be announced in September 2008.
• Winners will be announced in November 2008.
• Any individual or organization worldwide is eligible to submit a website(s) in the call for entries.
• Websites can be submitted in multiple categories. Each submission requires a submission fee payable through PayPal. Each submission will be $50 per category through July 13, 2008. Effective July 14, 2008, pricing will be $75 per category.
• Each site is judged a minimum of three times and five nominees in each category are announced. A second round of judging then occurs and winners are announced in each category. All voting is accurately tabulated for fairness and accuracy.
• Judges decisions are final.
• The Pixel Awards staff does not select or influence the selection of nominees. A qualified panel of judges determines nominees and winners for each Pixel Awards category.
• Pornographic sites or sites with "hate" language and other extraordinarily offensive content are not eligible.
